The accommodation here at Bertrand’s is well known for its comfort, our rooms are located on the first floor of the building overlooking the cottage grounds and hosting spectacular views of Deadwood Plain the nearby peak Flag Staff. History tells that from the cottage Napoleon and General Bertrand would often watch the horse races that took place on Deadwood Plain.
Bertrand’s Cottage provides en suite facilities with their accommodation, two twin rooms and one double room all named after St Helena’s volcanic formations, Stitches, Friars and Woody Ridge. The rooms are also equipped with tea and coffee facilitates.
The cottage also offers a cosy lounge along with a TV providing guests a comfortable seating area. Fire places can be lit in winter periods.
